quick whiskey 48 hr....

(Missouri)

I do 1 container of old fashion Oats Pour into a 5 gallon bucket. Take the same container and fill with Cracked Corn add to the bucket.

Boil 2 gallons of Distilled Water. Add Water to the Corn and oats stir. Let sit for 10 minutes, add 5 lbs of Sugar, stir and let set for 10 minutes. Add Water stir let sit until around 105 degrees and then add a super Turbo Brewer's yeast I use ( Liquor Quik/ turbo Pure X-press)
Stir and then put on airtight lid with a airlock. It will start bubbling in about 5 minutes after being sealed. Keep over 67 degrees and no hotter than 75 degrees. in 48 hrs strain through a pillow case and distill. I use a reflux and will run 4 five gallon buckets of wash and will produce 2.5 to 3 gallons of whiskey. I throwout the first 100 ml and then blend all the rest in a 5 gallon glass carboy never touches plastic. Tastes great. to smooth out get some wood spirals charred medium heavy and put a 2 inch piece into each quart jar.

My twist try aging for 2 weeks then boil a little distilled water and add just a little bit of sugar and maple syrup to a boil... stir well , let cool for 10 minutes off stove and add while warm. I put about 1 oz of sweet mix into a quart, takes the proof down to 110 but reallyu smooths it out for drinking straight.
