Simply the best!
Spend more if you want, find some obscure label you can brag about. The bottom line is drinkibility, it is smooth, rich, and warming to the soul.
I am a real Scotch drinker and so I often recieve a lot of gift bottles of expensive Scotch from friends and family.
It seems as though they are always trying to top each other by getting me a "better" bottle.
That's great in that I get to try a lot of different whiskies and share them with others. (They can drink all of it they want)
I finally told my wife if anyone asks, let them know that I would most appreciate my favorite drink. 12 year old Glenlivet...no need to waste their time or money in search of something better. It is the Scotch that all others are measured against...at least to me which after all is what it is all about.
