Bruichladdich 1989 18 Year Old Kosher Wine Finish (Carmel Winery)

I'm a fan of sweet single malts; yes, I can hear the Lagavulen / Laphroig crowd chuckling.
Bunnahabhain 12 was my first favorite, Balvenie 12 year old doublewood is my new obsession, but the Bruichladdich 1989 goes beyond these!
If I could strap a glass under my nose and walk around for a couple of hours I'd be very happy.
Smooth, sweet, caramel, vanilla, this whisky's flavors are accompanied by hints of darker complex notes and some ineffable quality that keeps me meditating on it trying to puzzle out its secrets.
Maybe its the texture.
I'm looking for other whiskys with caramel / vanilla profiles.
Dalwhinnie is too fruity for me. I hear the Aberfeldy 21 or the Glenfarclas 10 might be up my alley.
Would anyone like to contribute to my cooments and give me their views?
